Reminder 6th Grade Orientation- 8/26/26

Dear 6th Grade Families, 

We are so excited to welcome our new 6th grade families to RMMS! We are looking forward to meeting you and your children and beginning this exciting new chapter together. Please take a moment to review the attached letter, which provides important information about what to expect during 6th Grade Orientation.

We know that student schedules were released today. If you are having difficulty accessing your child’s schedule, there is no need to worry! We will have a hard copy of each student’s schedule available during their session. Our guidance counselors will be distributing schedules by team, so you will have everything you need when you arrive.

Picture Opportunity:
Teams 1 and 2 are welcome to arrive at 8:05 a.m. if they would like to have their picture taken before the first orientation session begins at 8:30 a.m. Teams 3, 4, and 5 are welcome to arrive at 1O:05 a.m. for a picture before their session.

If you are unable to arrive early for your child’s picture, please do not worry! Students will have another opportunity to have their picture taken during their scheduled rotation.

We are also excited to have some of your child’s teachers join us during the welcome portion of the orientation. Please keep in mind, however, that our teachers are still enjoying their summer vacation, so not all teachers may be able to attend.

Teams 3, 4 and 5 are welcome to arrive at 10:05 if they would like to have their picture taken earlier before orientation begins. I wanted to update and make that correction for the parents whose session is 10:30-12:00.
