Join Us for Unity Day - (Every Monday) leading up to October 22nd

Posted Date: 9/07/25 (3:40 PM)

Dear RMMS Families,
We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in Unity Day on Tuesday, October 22nd. Unity Day is a national movement that brings communities together to stand against bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion for all students.

Why Unity Day Matters

Unity Day was created to send a visible message that no child should experience bullying. When we wear orange together, we demonstrate our collective commitment to:
  • Creating a safe and welcoming environment for every student
  • Standing up against bullying in all its forms
  • Celebrating our differences and building a stronger school community
  • Showing students they are not alone and that we support one another

How We're Participating

Leading Up to Unity Day: Beginning this Monday (9/8) and continuing each Monday through October 22nd, we invite all students and staff to wear orange to school. This builds excitement and reinforces our message of unity throughout the month.
Unity Day - October 22nd: We encourage everyone in our school community to wear orange as we come together for this important cause.

Optional T-Shirt Purchase

We will be sending home a flyer with information about purchasing special Unity Day t-shirts. These shirts are completely optional, but provide another way for families who wish to participate in this meaningful initiative.
Remember, any orange clothing, accessories, or even orange ribbons help show your support. The most important thing is that we stand together as a community.

Thank you for helping us create a culture of kindness and acceptance at our school.

Warm regards,
